About

Over Noise is about stories worth hearing over the noise. Human lives, incredible survivals, deaths both heroic and senseless, trials, pardons and fates that would be hard to make up.

I tell them as reportage with the tension of a thriller, but without the tabloid tone. Victims and their families deserve dignity, and readers deserve honesty.

That is why in every story I keep three things apart: what is confirmed by primary sources, how the media tell it, and what I think myself.

I am Ukrainian, and the stories are first written in Ukrainian. The English version is a careful adaptation of the original.
